The Abraxas Ensemble offer a unique combination
of string quartet with female vocalist, encompassing everything
from Vivaldi's Four Seasons to their authentic arrangements of
30's and 40's jazz songs. Their aim is to combine the traditional
aspects of a classical string quartet with the originality of their
own jazz arrangements, that are enhanced by the inclusion of a
female jazz singer.
