Jazz Piano

We have several excellent pianists who play a repertoire encompassing a wide range of jazz, either solo, as duets or part of complete bands. Because each has their own specialties, we suggest that we discuss your requirements over the phone or by email before proposing a particular musician.

The Midsummer Musicians have been playing in many of the most prestigious venues in Worcestershire and the surrounding counties since 1990. Repertoire spans the full jazz idiom.. Many of our pianists extend their repertoire to other styles of music, such as classical  and music from the shows. Some play with double bass accompaniment, others as a part of a jazz quartet, others as soloists. 

Wedding venues often have high quality pianos available. If not, certain of our colleagues have electronic pianos that can be brought to the venue, or a piano can be hired. In selecting the most appropriate of our colleagues to play for you, we would discuss the venue and the atmosphere you wish to create during each stage of your wedding day. This also applies to our corporate clients.

Remember during your planning, that unlike a string quartet, a piano is not portable. Usually, the pianist is restricted to one location at the wedding venue.
